Day 1Day one Visit of Tito's bunker

Arrival at the airport in Sarajevo (Mostar Tuzla), transport to Konjic and accommodation in Apart & Hostel Stećak. A tour of Tito’s bunker. We will visit Tito’s bunker or ARK, or Atomic War Command, which is considered one of the most closely guarded secrets of the former Yugoslavia. The bunker was built for a full 26 years (1953-1979) and is one of the largest investments with 4.6 billion US dollars spent. This underground atomic shelter with the deepest point of 280 m could withstand an atomic attack of up to 25 kilotons. In the bunker there are several forced exits that are not shown on the map and lead to the top of the mountain Zlatar, under which it was built. ARK covers 6,400 m2 with over a hundred rooms. This huge facility features conference rooms, offices, a communication block, water, oil, air conditioning and more. It was built to be able to protect 350 people, ie the military and state leadership of the former Yugoslavia in the event of a nuclear attack. They could stay in the bunker for six months without any contact with the outside world. In addition to the many blocks in the bunker, one of the most interesting is Tito’s private residence. After lunch, visit to the cultural and historical heritage (Homeland Museum, Old Stone Bridge, woodcarving museums “Mulić’s record” and “Handicrafts Nikšić”, necropolis of stećak tombstones on the Varda). Overnight in Apart & Hostel Stećak in Konjic

Day 2Hiking on the Herzegovina's Himalayas

After breakfast, with the provided transport, the participants go to the starting point, Tisovica (Prenj). Theoretical and practical preparation by licensed guides for hiking participants. From Tisovica (1300 m), one of the most beautiful valleys in BiH, which stretches for 5 km and is located in the heart of the Herzegovinian Himalayas, there is a hiking trail to the highest peaks of the Prenj mountain. From Tisovica, a hiking trail leads through a coniferous forest to the Vrutak mountain lodge (1650 m), at the top of the Tisovica valley. From the mountain house Vrutak, the marked path leads uphill to the greats of Prenje, Otiš (2093 m) and Zelena Glava (2155 m), and exits to the saddle that connects the mentioned peaks. This one-day tour lasts about 6 hours, depending on the physical fitness of the team members. Hike to the top of Prenja is organized with short breaks (photography, snack / lunch package). Prenj, ie the Herzegovinian Himalayas, is considered to be the most attractive mountain in BiH. The peaks of Prenja are exciting and attractive for hikers who enjoy the charms of untouched nature. Overnight with dinner is organized in Apart & Hostel Stećak in Konjic. Participants should provide clothing and footwear, as well as additional upholstery. We will provide a lunch package (sandwich, juice, fruit, chocolate).

Day 3Rafting on Neretva, clean and drinkable river

Lunch at a restaurant by the river Buna. Return to Mostar, dinner and overnight.

Day 7Tour of Međugorje, Počitelj and Kravice waterfall

After breakfast, the participants take an organized transport to Međugorje, located between the hills in the southern part of BiH. The story of Our Lady is associated with Međugorje and that is why every year a large number of tourists come from all over the world. After visiting Međugorje, go to the Kravice waterfall. Kravice Waterfall is a natural phenomenon similar to Niagara Falls, where a water arch over 150 meters wide falls from a height of 30 meters creating a big roar and dewy rain. This is an ideal place for refreshment during a hot summer day. Free time for photography at the waterfall. We will also visit the Hutovo Blato bird sanctuary. It is a swamp created due to the underground aquifer system of the Krupa River. This area, surrounded by Lake Deran, is home to 240 species of birds during migrations, as well as dozens of species for which this reserve is a permanent home. During migrations, tens of thousands of birds fill the lake and its surroundings. The best way to observe the birds and enjoy Hutovo Blato is a boat tour, which is included in this tour. Lunch after the tour. Upon return, a visit to the medieval Ottoman town of Počitelj, which is located on the left bank of the Neretva. At this place, the Bosnian King Tvrtko built a fortress in 1383, which was conquered by the Ottoman Empire in 1471, where they remained until 1878, as can be seen from numerous monuments from the Ottoman period.
