Your safety is always our number one priority, so we decided to explain to you in a short story what details our team thinks so that you can finally boast a perfect rafting experience.

Before embarking on any adventure, planning everything in detail is crucial and using as much helpful information from verified sources. The goal is obvious – safety and enjoyment. If you have never had the opportunity to visit a rafting center and live the energy of this water sport, you certainly do not know what you are missing. Besides, you have not had the opportunity to listen to the introductory lessons of the rafting team. Don’t worry; we won’t be as extensive as real teachers now, but we will do our best to make you ready to visit the GRAND RIVER RAFTING CENTER after this and show off your theoretical and practical knowledge.
If we were to look at security as a chain, the first step would be, just mentioned, a briefing or introductory lesson. It includes rules of conduct during the activity, sitting, rowing, and notes in unforeseen situations. It is essential to trust the professional team and listen carefully to their instructions throughout the trip. For those who do not abide by the agreement, the adventure may end for them then. We emphasize, the safety of all of us always comes first!
The next step is to get acquainted with the necessary equipment and its distribution to rafters. Let’s do it now by making a shortlist. Paper and pencil are good friends in situations like this because they remember very well. Write (under number):
1. According to the standards, a rubber boat is made, which is checked several times immediately before entering the water
2. Paddles, which are made for light rowing on the water so that each member of the team can warm up the muscles at least a little
3. A helmet that is to your measurements so that it fits snugly against your head. There is a somewhat more complex but very descriptive group of words in the Bosnian language, saying that “a hat protects the head.” We’ve all been convinced of the truth of these words at least a few times.
4. Safety vest, whose primary functionality is water maintenance in case of boat fall/overturning
5. If you are a bit more experienced and the section where you do rafting requires it, you also need special suits that keep the heat and do not leak water.
6. Licensed skipper. Without the right guide, knowledge of the environment, lack of equipment, you do not go on a trip
Now a few photos of the cheerful team that adopted all the rules and respected them until the end. With this, we came to the last link in the security chain. So enjoy those photographs, but don’t forget that you can turn that enjoyment into your reality.
The team of the Grand River rafting center wishes you pleasant rafting!
